Progesterone shots!> My progesterone is fine its for pre term labor.
Does anyone get them?? i am getting them staring at 16weeks. Are their any side effects??

I don't have info on the shots, but I have heard about it on these boards. Was your levels low?

no my level was perfectly fine, its b/c i went into preterm labor and delivered a baby at 20 weeks, my doctor thinks this is an isolate incident. however, that this is a precaution we have to take. It cuts the chances of going into preterm labor a 1/3.

I went through IVF so I had to do progesterone shots every night for 8 weeks

Since for me it was early in my pregnancy, it was like PMS gone wild! I had to do them every night though, will you be having to do that? I don't know much about getting extra progesterone in the 2nd trimester.

no mine will just be once a week in my tush. From 16 weeks to 36 weeks. And i will have to have my cervix measured every 2 weeks.
